About the position

The Manager at Subway® is responsible for ensuring an excellent guest experience while overseeing restaurant operations. This role includes managing staff, maintaining food safety standards, and coordinating marketing initiatives to promote sales and community engagement.

Responsibilities

• Providing an excellent guest experience
• Ensuring that great food is prepared and served
• Keeping the restaurant functional, clean, and beautiful
• Managing inventory and money control systems
• Coordinating local marketing initiatives, including community outreach
• Recruiting staff
• Maintaining standards of restaurant safety and security
• Being a team player
• Recruiting and rewarding outstanding team members
• Ensuring safety and security protocols are followed
• Maintaining business records and analyzing them to help increase sales
• Identifying and contacting prospective guests to promote sales
• Supporting local and national marketing initiatives
• Planning special events and promotions

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
• A minimum of 2 years in a restaurant environment
• Experience in supervising and training staff
• Excellent communication skills
• Computer knowledge is essential
• Ability to work any area of the restaurant as needed
• Ability to operate computerized Point of Sale system/cash register

Nice-to-haves
