About the position

The Managerial Consultant IV - Chief of Staff plays a crucial role in supporting the Senior Vice President and Area Manager at Kaiser Permanente. This position is responsible for aligning departments around operational efficiency, managing a significant construction project, and developing initiatives for growth in new markets. The consultant ensures stakeholder alignment and coordination to drive the implementation of strategic business initiatives and projects across various functional areas.

Responsibilities

  • Align departments around operations and efficiency.
  • Manage project management for a $2 billion construction project.
  • Develop initiatives to promote growth in new markets.
  • Handle internal communications and resolve operational issues.
  • Assess performance metrics and oversee the SVP's schedule/calendar.
  • Facilitate team collaboration to support business outcomes.
  • Drive business strategy and organizational alignment.
  • Lead complex, cross-functional projects and programs.
  • Design and implement change management plans for business initiatives.
  • Monitor compliance with policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and a minimum of six years of experience in consulting, project management, data analytics, operations, or a directly related field.
  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Public Health, Health Services Administration, or related field and a minimum of four years of experience in consulting, project management, data analytics, operations, or a directly related field.
  • Minimum of nine years of experience in consulting, project management, data analytics, operations, or a directly related field.
