About the position

The Distribution / Order Management Architect at Capgemini will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and optimizing order management and distribution systems. This position requires a deep understanding of various systems including SAP, Manhattan, Salesforce, and Sterling OMS, alongside a robust grasp of supply chain processes. The architect will collaborate closely with different business units to ensure that the systems not only meet business requirements but also integrate seamlessly across the organization. In this role, the architect will be responsible for developing and designing comprehensive end-to-end solutions for order management and distribution. This includes ensuring efficient data flow and process optimization. The architect will engage with business stakeholders to gather and document system requirements, conduct thorough analyses of existing systems, and identify areas for improvement. Additionally, the architect will work alongside development teams to ensure that the solutions are built according to specifications and adhere to quality standards. Staying updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies is crucial for continuous improvement in system architecture. The architect will also serve as a liaison between IT, Supply Chain, and other business units, ensuring alignment and clear communication throughout the project lifecycle. Regular updates on project status, issues, and risks will be communicated to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and collaboration throughout the process.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and design end-to-end order management and distribution solutions using SAP, Manhattan, Salesforce, and/or Sterling OMS systems, ensuring seamless data flow and process efficiency.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document system requirements.
  • Conduct detailed analysis of existing systems and processes to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
  • Work with development teams to ensure solutions are built to specification and meet quality standards.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies to continuously improve system architecture.
  • Serve as a liaison between IT, Supply Chain, and other business units to ensure alignment and clear communication.
  • Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project status, issues, and risks.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience in system architecture, with a focus on order management and distribution systems.
  • Proven experience with SAP, Manhattan, Salesforce, and/or Sterling OMS systems.
  • In-depth knowledge of supply chain processes and best practices.
  • Relevant certifications in SAP, Manhattan, Salesforce, and/or Sterling OMS systems are a plus.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with additional supply chain management software solutions.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based order management systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
