About the position

The Managing Director of Equity Research at Texas Capital Bank is a senior-level position responsible for leading the Equity Research team within the Capital Markets Group. This role involves performing comprehensive financial analysis, creating and maintaining financial models, and providing investment recommendations on publicly traded companies. The Managing Director will also be responsible for writing fundamental research publications, delivering presentations to clients, and managing a team to foster a customer-focused culture that deepens client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive financial statement analysis and create financial models.
• Provide investment recommendations on publicly traded companies.
• Write fundamental research publications with value-added perspectives.
• Deliver presentations to institutional clients and internal sales and trading teams.
• Follow overall market news and evaluate market data to assess macro trends.
• Collect, consolidate, and interpret company and industry data.
• Develop and maintain connections with investor relations and management of companies under coverage.
• Coordinate and communicate with sales, trading, and other areas of the firm.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in equity research and financial analysis.
• Strong understanding of financial modeling and investment recommendations.
• Proven ability to write research publications and deliver presentations.
• Experience in managing and mentoring a team.
• Ability to develop and maintain client relationships.
