About the position

The Managing Director, Partner Development Manager at EAB is responsible for leading and managing the Partner Development team focused on Research and Advisory products. This role involves achieving revenue targets through new business development, team leadership, and strategic sales management. The Managing Director will implement effective strategies to grow revenue while managing team performance against metrics. The position can be based in Washington, DC or Richmond, VA, and is open to remote work within the continental U.S.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a team against revenue goals for new and existing products.
  • Develop and implement strategies for revenue growth.
  • Lead and coach the Partner Development team to enhance skills and effectiveness.
  • Establish a high-functioning sales management process for team members.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product delivery leaders on sales strategies and collateral creation.
  • Maintain expertise in industry issues and communicate market intelligence to stakeholders.
  • Report on projected revenue and team results to executive leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited College/University.
  • 10-12+ years of Sales or Account Management experience with team management.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals.
  • Ability to conduct presentations and facilitate group discussions.
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
  • Willingness to travel at least 25%.
