The Managing Editor plays a critical role in maintaining the quality and consistency of BYU-Idaho's educational content. Collaborating with curriculum designers, faculty, and university personnel, they ensure that all courses and educational resources align with the university's copy editing and transcription standards. This position involves designing and implementing efficient editorial processes and resources while leading a team of student copy editors. The Managing Editor oversees their work to ensure all edits and transcripts are accurate, consistent, and completed on time. As a key member of the Course Development team, the Managing Editor reports to the Director of Course Development and contributes to delivering high-quality learning experiences that support student success.
