About the position

The Managing Partner for IT Strategy Consulting in Financial Services at Gartner is responsible for sustaining and growing relationships with a defined portfolio of clients, particularly in the core retail banking sector. This role involves advising clients on strategic and tactical matters, leveraging technology to drive business outcomes, and collaborating with various partners to deliver optimal solutions. The position is pivotal in helping clients execute their strategic priorities across various sectors, including digital transformation, cloud strategy, and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Sustain and grow Gartner Consulting's relationship with a defined portfolio of clients.
• Advise clients at the highest strategic level on technology's role in achieving business outcomes.
• Collaborate with Expert Partners to deliver the best solutions to clients.
• Manage multiple client priorities simultaneously.
• Lead and build high-performing teams that leverage technology for client success.

Requirements

• Experience within a well-regarded management consultancy in a project delivery and sales capacity.
• Prior experience in a problem-solving capacity such as a solution/technical architect or analyst preferred.
• Experience working with multiple IT solutions.
• Experience working with financial institutions, such as large banks and asset/wealth management clients.
• A consistent track record of leading people and building high-performing teams.
• Ability to inspire and motivate professionals from both technical and non-technical backgrounds.
• Demonstrated intellectual curiosity and creative problem-solving skills.
• MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
• Proven track record in achieving/exceeding revenue targets.
