About the position

The Mandarin Interpreter position involves providing on-site and remote consecutive and simultaneous interpretation services throughout the five boroughs of New York City. The role is part-time and requires flexibility in scheduling, as well as the ability to travel to various client locations. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who can establish dependable communication and collaborate effectively with service providers to serve the community.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site and remote consecutive and simultaneous interpretation services.

Requirements

• Fluent in English and Mandarin.
• Must be 18 years of age or older and have U.S work authorization.
• Provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination.
• Willingness to travel to all 5 boroughs of New York City.
• Access to the Internet, quiet workspace, and computer/phone for remote work.
• Ability to pass a background check.
