About the position

The Retail/WMS/Manhattan Test Lead position is a contract role based in Indianapolis, IN, requiring a seasoned professional with extensive testing experience. The role involves leading testing efforts in a retail environment, specifically focusing on supply chain, order management, and warehouse management systems. The consultant will work onsite in a hybrid model, collaborating with both local and offshore teams to ensure effective test coordination and execution.

Responsibilities

• Providing thought leadership in the testing space
• Creating test strategies and test plans
• Leading and mentoring the offshore team
• Creating and reviewing test scenarios and test cases
• Managing test execution, defects, and test reporting
• Maintaining test data and documentation
• Coordinating and communicating with stakeholders
• Working closely with development and support teams
• Participating in scrum meetings and ceremonies

Requirements

• 10-12 years of overall testing experience
• 3-5 years of lead experience
• Experience working with offshore teams and teams from different time zones
• Experience in test coordination with cross-functional teams
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies
• Experience in the retail domain, specifically in supply chain, order management, and warehouse management
• Thorough knowledge of databases and APIs
• Experience with automation testing support for offshore teams
• Familiarity with test management tools
• Experience in Agile methodology
• Proficiency in JIRA and Confluence
