About the position

The Quality Assurance (QA) Tester at Yopeso is responsible for developing effective testing strategies, executing test plans, and ensuring that web and mobile applications meet quality standards. This role involves close communication with product and engineering teams to understand project objectives and verify functionality against specifications. The QA Tester plays a crucial role in maintaining high-quality software products through meticulous testing and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop effective strategies, test plans, and test cases to ensure adequate test coverage.
• Test web and mobile applications (Android, iOS) to ensure they meet quality standards for clients.
• Communicate with product and engineering leads to understand business and project objectives.
• Execute test procedures to verify functionality against specifications and product requirements.

Requirements

• Comprehensive knowledge of quality assurance methodologies.
• High attention to detail and a methodical approach to test design, implementation, and execution.
• Ability to document and troubleshoot errors.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Comfortable communicating in English, both written and verbally; German is a plus.
• Familiarity with Agile frameworks.
• Self-driven and able to work independently.
