The position involves ensuring the safety of plant personnel at all times while developing improvements in processes to help lower manufacturing costs. The role includes the design and/or procurement of all new equipment and tooling, ensuring that new products are launched in a timely manner while maintaining quoted profit margins. Responsibilities also include tooling and programming of CNC robotic tube benders, installation and programming of vision inspection systems, and ensuring effective mistake-proof devices are on all pieces of equipment. The individual will maintain quality levels and make improvements to increase those levels, oversee maintenance activities on individual projects to ensure timely installations, and ensure ample stock levels are maintained for repair parts. Additionally, the role requires developing new processes to maintain TI Fluid Systems as a leader in the tube fabrication industry, writing Capital Expenditure requests for capital projects, ensuring that all pieces of equipment are process capable, and developing process failure mode effects analysis (PFMEA) for all processes. The position may also involve performing related duties and special projects as assigned.
