About the position

The Territory Sales Manager for Precision Digital Corporation is responsible for driving sales growth in the Midwest region, specifically targeting customers in various industries. This role involves a significant amount of travel to meet with clients, promote products, and develop business opportunities. The ideal candidate will leverage their sales expertise to expand the company's market presence and build relationships with both direct customers and channel partners.

Responsibilities

  • Find new direct business opportunities at a wide range of customer types and industries.
  • Learn the value proposition of Precision Digital display and control products, and promote that to end users, OEMs, private labelers, systems integrators, and resellers.
  • Help create your own plans on where to travel, and who to see to maximize your impact on sales.
  • Quickly become an expert at presenting Precision Digital products to customers.
  • Log all calls, visits, and customers met in the CRM (Salesforce.com), and be able to make valuable use of the information already in the CRM.
  • Once settled into the position (6-12 months), learn about and develop local channel partners and help build the channel partner strategy for the territory.

Requirements

  • Experience in outside sales with a history of working with a large number of customers.
  • Comfortable with making up to 20 sales calls per week and conducting 4 days of sales calls per week.
  • Ability to travel 33%-50% of the time for overnight trips throughout the Midwest.

Nice-to-haves
