About the position

As a Manufacturing Analytics Engineer specializing in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning at Schneider Electric, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing business processes and manufacturing efficiency through innovative solutions. This position is part of the North America Data Analytics and Reporting team, where you will collaborate closely with manufacturing business leaders and process experts to identify opportunities for optimization. Your responsibilities will include quantifying targets and expected value of optimization initiatives, evaluating emerging software and technologies, and deploying technical solutions that align with business requirements. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in AI and ML to develop and implement strategies that optimize manufacturing operations. You will be expected to analyze quantitative data sets, utilize your strong knowledge of ERP systems, and apply your skills in large-scale data mining and statistical analysis. A functional working knowledge of generative AI and an understanding of shop floor controls and automation will be essential for your success. Responsibilities

Requirements

  • BS Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a highly technical programming/engineering role.
  • Strong technical background with coding experience in R, Python, and SQL.
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services.
  • Prior experience optimizing shop floor equipment, data monitoring, and machine learning.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with generative AI technologies.
  • Familiarity with statistical analysis tools and methodologies.
