About the position

The Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Developer will join the North America Data Analytics and Reporting team at Schneider Electric. This role focuses on identifying and developing AI and ML solutions to enhance business processes and improve manufacturing efficiency. The position offers a hybrid/flexible work schedule and involves collaboration with manufacturing leaders, quantifying optimization targets, evaluating new technologies, and deploying technical solutions based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with manufacturing business leaders and process experts to identify optimization opportunities.
• Quantify targets and expected value of optimization initiatives.
• Evaluate emerging software and technologies relevant to AI and ML.
• Deploy technical solutions in accordance with business requirements.

Requirements

• BS Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a highly technical programming/engineering role.
• Strong technical background with coding experience in R, Python, and SQL.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services.
• Prior experience optimizing shop floor equipment, data monitoring, and machine learning.

Nice-to-haves

• Functional working knowledge of generative AI.
• Understanding of shop floor controls and automation.
