About the position
The Manufacturing Associate position at STS Aerospace is an entry-level role focused on supporting the aerospace industry through various manufacturing tasks. The role emphasizes quality, safety, and efficiency in a well-equipped facility designed for employee comfort and professional growth. Associates will engage in hands-on work, including assembly and inspection of aerospace components, while adhering to established procedures and standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform visual and dimensional checks on materials, assemblies, tube details, components, and finished products.
- Plan, layout, fabricate, assemble, install, salvage parts from assemblies, and repair rigid and/or flexible tube assemblies, fixtures, equipment, and products.
- Utilize hand tools to prepare hose for assembly, including removing rubber, connecting fittings, and applying RTV.
- Set up and operate abrasive, squaring, deburring, and sizing equipment such as swager or crimper.
- Read and interpret blueprints, method sheets, process sheets, policies, and procedures to manufacture a variety of rigid and flexible metal tubes.
- Consistently arrive at work on time and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
