Pro Staff is seeking a dedicated Manufacturing Associate for our client located in Inver Grove Heights, MN. The Manufacturing Associate will work either 1st shift from 5:45 am to 6 pm, Sunday through Tuesday, and every other Wednesday, or 3rd shift from 5:45 pm to 6 am, also on Sunday through Tuesday and every other Wednesday. This schedule allows for a balanced work-life experience, catering to those who may have other commitments during the week. Associates will perform routine quality checks, load materials into the press, package orders, and transport products to designated areas. The role also requires the use of hand tools and light power tools, as well as maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Physical demands include frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds and standing for extended periods, up to 12 hours. Responsibilities
- Perform routine quality checks, tests, and inspections during and at the end of the production process using basic math skills.
- Load paper in and out of the press.
- Package orders and transport products to designated warehouse areas.
- Assemble, bind, and fabricate items to create complete products (displays, signs, kits, etc.).
- Utilize hand tools, jigs, fixtures, and light power tools and equipment.
- Maintain a safe and clean work area.
- Frequent lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Stand for 12+ hours.
Requirements
- No prior manufacturing experience required, but helpful if available.
- Ability to perform basic math skills for quality checks and inspections.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and stand for long periods.
