Do you enjoy monitoring, evaluating, revising, and improving work procedures, processes, and systems to ensure best practices that result in a safe work environment? We are currently seeking a Manufacturing Chemist I who will be responsible for manufacturing, packaging and labeling of products, reviewing data, and continuously improving objectives associated with those products, as well as product preparation, glassware cleaning, monitoring of equipment, record keeping, and other general laboratory duties and tasks as necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Manufacture products with extremely high level of precision
  • Operate, calibrate, and maintain complex precise machinery
  • Work with hazardous, flammable, corrosive, carcinogenic, compressed gasses, and toxic materials in a safe manner
  • Work in specialized personal protective equipment (PPE), including respirators, face shields, and Tyvek suits
  • Manage, maintain, and restock all raw materials and lab supplies

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry or a related physical science
  • 1+ years of Manufacturing and packaging experience, in a laboratory setting
  • Knowledge of laboratory safety practices and procedures
  • Knowledge of the principles and practice of laboratory quality assurance and quality control
  • Advanced knowledge Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and data base applications
