About the position

The Manufacturing Customer Service Representative role at Randstad US involves building and maintaining relationships with clients, supporting sales and internal teams, and ensuring order accuracy and timely delivery. Responsibilities

  • Promote services to both new and existing customers.
  • Provide support to field sales and internal teams.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between customers and the quality, engineering, and manufacturing departments.
  • Generate quotes, coordinate order entry, and communicate requirements to relevant personnel.
  • Expedite orders to ensure timely delivery to meet customer needs.
  • Build strong relationships with category buyers to drive sales growth and quickly resolve customer issues for positive scorecard results.
  • Perform customer service and account maintenance, including scorecard and portal management.
  • Review orders for accuracy, coordinate order entry, and share necessary information with internal departments, external customers, and sales teams.
  • Coordinate customer quote activity and maintain CRM records.
  • Prepare and present quotations and proposals directly to customers or alongside field sales representatives.
  • Monitor account activity, assess performance, and provide sales forecasts.
  • Occasional travel to customer locations may be required (up to 10%).
  • Collaborate with the sales and customer experience teams to analyze customer data and optimize sales strategies.
  • Manage CRM and ensure effective data management.
  • Oversee customer data within company ERP and CRM systems.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in customer service or account management is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with ERP systems.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in sales support or customer relations.
  • Familiarity with CRM software.
