About the position

We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst to join our team at US-Companies, located in High Point, NC. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse data projects, contributing to the company's growth through improved data compilation and analysis processes. The ideal candidate will have expertise in data analysis, Tableau, SQL, and database design, and will work closely with department leaders to present data in an actionable format.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a data flow diagram.
• Assist in automating data processes.
• Manage the commissioning and decommissioning of data sets.
• Create reports, dashboards, and visual tools to support decision-making.
• Analyze complex datasets to extract valuable insight.
• Develop and maintain Tableau dashboards for data visualization.
• Participate in database design and optimization.
• Perform ETL processes to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
• Utilize SQL for querying databases and performing data manipulation.
• Conduct business analysis to support decision-making processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
• Participate in data-related projects, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met.
• Train end-users on new reports and dashboards.
• Provide technical expertise in data storage, data mining, and data cleansing.
• Contribute to budget development, financial projections, and trend analysis.
• Identify production capacity and forecast constraints.
• Evaluate and update KPIs across the organization.
• Implement and enforce data control strategies and procedures.

Requirements

• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and time management skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel.
• Experience with Visual Basic, SQL, Power BI, and Tableau is a plus.
• Proven track record of achieving goals and meeting deadlines.
• Familiarity with database design principles.
• Excellent communication, relationship-building, influencing, and collaboration skills.
• Experience working in small to mid-size companies, with a preference for candidates with manufacturing experience.
