About the position

The position involves monitoring the quality and efficiency performance of assigned manufacturing lines at Jabil. The role focuses on driving continuous improvement through process development, root cause analysis, and systematic problem-solving, utilizing data from various sources to enhance manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the quality and efficiency performance for assigned manufacturing line(s).
• Drive continuous improvement through process development and root cause analysis.
• Utilize data from CIQ, TARS, and other sources to enhance performance.
• Balance and optimize line throughput, minimizing changeover downtime.
• Monitor machine management data to maximize utilization and minimize scrap.
• Provide input on cost reduction by streamlining processes and systems.
• Create and maintain wave and reflow soldering profiles.
• Ensure process parameters are within acceptable tolerances for products and components.
• Design and procure production tooling, including stencils and fixtures.
• Coordinate line reconfigurations and machine move activities.
• Verify scheduled machine maintenance is performed on assigned lines.
• Encourage open communication within the M.E. department and support groups.
• Adhere to safety and health rules and regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• One to two years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
