About the position

The Manufacturing Engineer, Assembly position at Dexian involves planning, directing, and coordinating manufacturing processes to ensure efficiency and quality in production. In this role, the engineer will analyze and plan workforce utilization, space requirements, workflow, equipment layout design, and workspace to maximize efficiency. Estimating production times, staffing requirements, and related costs will be essential for providing management with accurate information for decision-making. The engineer will also apply statistical methods to estimate future manufacturing requirements and potential, ensuring that the company is prepared for upcoming production demands. Additionally, the position requires providing technical engineering expertise and support related to manufacturing processes. The engineer will analyze the financial impacts of sustainable manufacturing processes or sustainable product manufacturing, contributing to the company's commitment to environmental responsibility. The role may require working at various unanticipated work locations throughout the United States, adding a dynamic aspect to the job.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, direct, and coordinate manufacturing processes.

Requirements

  • U.S. Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related Engineering field, or the foreign degree equivalent.
  • 2 years' experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
  • Experience with ERP/BPCS, Minitab, Point, Adobe Professional, PTC Creo, AutoCAD, Windchill.
  • Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles and Continuous Improvement Principles.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of material properties, treatment, and testing.
