About the position

The Manufacturing Engineer Co-Op position at Regal Rexnord Corp focuses on applying principles of Manufacturing and Industrial Engineering to enhance manufacturing processes, ensuring maximum quality and productivity. The role involves supporting daily operations, implementing productivity projects, and maintaining compliance with ISO standards, all while fostering effective communication within the workforce.

Responsibilities

• Provide shop floor support in daily problem solving activities.
• Identify and implement projects such as productivity and cost reduction projects in assigned area.
• Develop and maintain appropriate process documentation to support ISO 9000 Certification.
• Create job work instructions as requested on existing and incoming equipment.
• Develop and implement World Class Manufacturing Processes.
• Investigate, justify and implement capital equipment needs.
• Communicate company goals, objectives and philosophies to the workforce.
• Attend communication meetings.
• Follow Emerson Ethics and Safety Programs.
• Adhere to all Export, Import and Supply Chain Security Policy requirements relevant to the position.
• Follow State and Federal Environmental Compliance Programs.
• Adhere to ISO 9000 Standards.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an accredited technical school or college.
• 1-2 years of experience in a related field.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel & Power Point.
• Above average verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a matrix and team environment.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with manufacturing processes and systems.
• Familiarity with ISO 9000 standards.
