About the position

The Manufacturing Engineer Co-op at Pulsafeeder is a role designed for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in manufacturing processes. This position involves evaluating, refining, designing, installing, and maintaining manufacturing processes, procedures, and equipment, providing an opportunity to apply engineering skills in a practical setting while contributing to process improvements and efficiency gains.

Responsibilities

• Write Work-Instructions to ensure best practices are followed in manufacturing.
• Update and/or replace Tooling and Fixtures as necessary.
• Collaborate with Assemblers, Manufacturing, and Quality teams to implement process improvements.
• Drive initiatives to lower costs, improve throughput, and increase efficiency while maintaining quality and safety standards.
• Lead the selection, installation, and validation of new equipment to enhance manufacturing processes.
• Sustain and improve visual factory management processes.

Requirements

• Experience with 3D CAD systems, preferably Solidworks.
• Fundamental knowledge of manufacturing processes including milling, turning, grinding, castings, and surface treatments.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under pressure.
