About the position

At Blue Origin, we envision millions of people living and working in space for the benefit of Earth. We're working to develop reusable, safe, and low-cost space vehicles and systems within a culture of safety, collaboration, and inclusion. Join our diverse team of problem solvers as we add new chapters to the history of spaceflight! As part of a small, passionate, and accomplished team, you will be responsible for developing solutions to manufacturing challenges throughout all stages of the product lifecycle. As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will work closely with programs and production, taking designs from concept to fully functional hardware. Throughout the manufacturing process, you will also help identify and develop methods to improve quality, reduce cost, and optimize build sequence and schedules. In this role, you will partner with Blue Engines' design engineers in developing and manufacturing engine valves to meet the demand of the engine program. Potential hardware could include pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrically actuated valves used in high pressure and cryogenic applications. This position will directly impact the history of space exploration and will require your dedicated commitment and detailed attention towards safe and repeatable human spaceflight. We are looking for someone to apply their technical expertise, leadership skills, and commitment to quality to positively impact safe human spaceflight. Passion for our mission and vision is required!
