The Manufacturing Engineer II at Parker Aerospace Group plays a crucial role in enhancing manufacturing capabilities and processes for various aerospace products. Responsibilities

  • Provides significant expertise in developing engineering solutions to improve the manufacture of new and existing products.
  • Improves current production processes using applicable methods and procedures.
  • Transfers new products into production from a 'design for manufacturability' approach.
  • Participates in developing and maintaining documentation for processes and designs.
  • Understands key business drivers and uses this understanding to accomplish work.
  • Solves problems in straightforward situations using technical experience, judgment, and precedents.
  • Exercises independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering is required.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong knowledge of designing manufacturing/test tooling fixtures.
  • Excellent ability to apply a systematic and analytical approach to problem-solving.
  • Advanced knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Ability to explain a range of complex technical information.
  • Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills to drive tasks to completion.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and database management tools.
