In addition to project management, the Manufacturing Engineer II will assist and guide support personnel, including technicians and maintenance staff, in technical matters as needed. A significant part of the role involves developing, installing, and maintaining optimal processes for the safe and productive manufacture of quality products. This includes creating procedures and providing training on new processes, tools, and equipment, as well as defining preventative and predictive maintenance requirements. The engineer will also coordinate successful corrections to production problems using sound manufacturing engineering problem-solving techniques, and when necessary, develop alternate methods or processes to ensure continued production. The position requires regular attendance and punctuality, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with others. The Manufacturing Engineer II will also engage in general industrial engineering functions as necessary, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the manufacturing operations.
