About the position
The Manufacturing Maintenance Engineer will join the Plant Operations team, focusing on maintaining, optimizing, and enhancing manufacturing equipment and processes. This hands-on role is crucial for ensuring that production equipment operates efficiently, safely, and reliably, thereby minimizing downtime and supporting production targets.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Drive continuous improvements in equipment performance.
- Ensure all production equipment operates efficiently and safely.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience with PLC controller, mechanical systems, welding, and fabrication techniques.
- Strong knowledge of machining processes, materials, and equipment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify root causes and develop solutions.
- Flexibility to work in a dynamic environment with changing priorities.
- Ability to perform hands-on work, including standing for extended periods and lifting heavy equipment.
- Experience with servicing/maintenance of small commercial process equipment used in Retail establishments.
- Electrical, electrical welding & gas brazing (soldering) certification from a recognized training institution.
