About The Position

The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for assessing manufacturing processes and ensuring the mechanical integrity of products to meet or exceed company and customer expectations. This role focuses on the implementation of new products into the manufacturing environment, applying lean manufacturing principles, and driving continuous improvement and design enhancements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or related field required.
• Manufacturing engineering experience preferred.
• Ability to analyze and redesign using Auto CAD, Inventor, or SolidWorks.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing Principles and Techniques.
• Experience in Six Sigma and TPS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify, analyze and implement continuous quality improvement in design and manufacturing process efficiency, safety, quality and cost.
• Develop work processes to ensure that products are assembled properly and meet quality objectives through work instructions and training.
• Perform capacity analysis, manufacturing process design, and line layout design for existing and new manufacturing processes and machine needs.
• Participate in procurement, installation, and runoff of new equipment processes.
• Coordinate, provide input, and participate in specification, design, build, development, and launch of new products.
