The Manufacturing Engineer position at Stanley Access Technologies, part of Allegion, is a pivotal role responsible for providing engineering support to the manufacturing operations. This position is based in Farmington, CT, and involves close collaboration with manufacturing associates to help them meet or exceed daily production targets. The engineer will work alongside Value Stream leadership to execute projects that align with the future state vision of the company. Additionally, the role requires collaboration with Design Engineering and Product Management to support New Product Development and its implementation in manufacturing operations. A key aspect of this role is to identify, develop, and implement manufacturing process improvements aimed at achieving targets related to Plant Safety, Quality, Delivery, Productivity, and Cost. The Manufacturing Engineer will apply lean manufacturing principles, drive a Kaizen culture, and engage manufacturing associates in continuous improvement events. Responsibilities also include developing, tracking, and improving Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) for critical equipment, as well as identifying, justifying, and implementing capital equipment projects. The engineer will also be responsible for developing and maintaining process work instructions and product routings, and providing technical direction to the CNC programming department when necessary.
