About the position

A Manufacturing Engineer/NC Programmer job is available with our client in Salt Lake city, UT. In this role you will be responsible for NC programming using CATIA CPD. You will develop Composite Part Design (CPD) definition, producibility, and 2D engineering / flat patterns for detail parts.

Responsibilities

• Develops Composite Part Design (CPD) definition, producibility, and 2D engineering / flat patterns for detail parts
• Supports creation and review of manufacturing plans to ensure compliance with design requirements and company processes
• Participates in the review, approval, and release process of engineering definition
• Supports components throughout full lifecycle from prototype to final acceptance

Requirements

• B.S. in Mechanical or Aerospace engineering OR 5+ years in a comparable role
• Aerospace industry experience
• CATIA V5
• CATIA CPD (Composites Workbench)
• Experience with Laser Projection
• Experience with Pattern Cutting

• Experience with FiberSIM
• Experience with TruNEST
• Experience with CATIA AME (CNC Machining Package)
• Experience with VeriCUT
• Experience with AutoCAD
• Experience with WindChill
