In this role, the Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for generating and updating work instructions, maintaining component manufacturing documentation, and optimizing product methodologies to enhance manufacturing efficiency. The engineer will also design special tooling, fixtures, and gauges that are essential for improving manufacturing processes. Effective troubleshooting and problem-solving skills are crucial, as the engineer will need to address various challenges that arise in the manufacturing environment. Collaboration across different manufacturing disciplines is also a key aspect of this position, as it requires working closely with various teams to ensure that all components meet the required specifications and quality standards. The work environment is dynamic, located in Windsor, CT, and involves a team of approximately 120 professionals dedicated to delivering high-quality engineering solutions. The company specializes in the design, development, manufacture, and support of highly engineered mechanical actuation and components for various aircraft and military systems, emphasizing quality and service in all operations.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate the transition of machined and fabricated components to the manufacturing team.
