About the position

The Manufacturing Engineer role at Actalent involves researching, designing, and developing mechanical products and systems. The engineer will be responsible for creating engineering drawings, interpreting blueprints, and analyzing customer design proposals to assess project feasibility. This position requires collaboration with drafters to develop structural designs and ensure the functionality and maintenance of mechanical devices.

Responsibilities

• Research and investigate the design, functionality, and maintenance of mechanical products, equipment, systems, and processes.
• Create engineering drawings and read and interpret blueprints.
• Research, design, develop, manufacture, and test tools, engines, machines, and other mechanical devices.
• Analyze customer design proposals, specifications, and manuals to determine time and cost feasibility for projects.
• Assist drafters in developing the structural design of products using tools, equipment, or software.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (open to candidates without a degree if they have relevant experience).
• At least 1 year of on-the-job experience is preferred.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Chiller systems.
