About the position
The Manufacturing Engineer position at Actalent is a temporary role focused on the installation and optimization of a newly acquired CNC machine. The engineer will be responsible for creating the machine cell layout and revising the testing area layout to enhance manufacturing processes and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Create and implement the CNC machine cell layout.
- Set up and revise the current testing area layout.
- Develop and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of new machinery.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to manufacturing processes.
Requirements
- Experience creating cell layouts.
- 5+ years of experience in the manufacturing industry.
- Proficiency in process improvement techniques.
- Degree in Manufacturing Engineering or a related field.
