About the position

The Manufacturing Engineering Planner will coordinate with Functional Manufacturing Engineering and Engineering teams to ensure effective planning and execution of manufacturing processes. This role involves creating and maintaining the Manufacturing Bill of Material and Order Bill of Material, analyzing engineering documents, and collaborating with various teams to produce compliant electronic work instructions. The position requires a detail-oriented individual who stays updated with the latest manufacturing techniques to enhance operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Functional Manufacturing Engineering and Engineering teams in JIRA, Teamcenter, and CAPP/SFM.
• Handle the creation and maintenance of the Manufacturing Bill of Material and Order Bill of Material.
• Analyze engineering drawings, models, specifications, processes, policies, and procedures to determine and plan practical operations.
• Collaborate with Designers and Production Engineers to produce and compliance check electronic work instructions.
• Support management meetings, reviews, and program reviews by documenting and tracking items to completion.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest manufacturing processes, tools, and techniques to ensure efficient and effective planning.

Requirements

• Experience in Manufacturing Engineering or a related field.
• Experience with manufacturing Bill of Materials and Order Bill of Materials.
• Proficient in manufacturing planning, with a solid understanding of related tools and techniques.
• Experience with JIRA, Teamcenter, CAPP/SFM, or IBaseT.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Active Secret Clearance required to apply with an investigation within the last 5 years.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with electronic work instruction systems.
• Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles.
• Experience with root cause analysis and problem-solving techniques.
