Responsibilities

  • Direct, plan, coordinate, and implement processes for HVAC manufacturing.
  • Lead or participate in process improvement teams to enhance plant capacity and product quality.
  • Document engineering changes and modifications.
  • Resolve and prevent production issues and equipment troubleshooting.
  • Optimize and standardize testing processes throughout the plant.
  • Assist with the introduction of new products in Operations.
  • Support and implement Lean Manufacturing techniques.
  • Perform data analysis to assess process capability and implement improvements.

Requirements

  • University degree and one year of experience, or a two-year degree and six years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Project management experience.
  • Experience with New Product Introduction (NPI).
  • Proficiency in a Windows operating environment, including Microsoft Office software.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and decision-making ability.
  • Effective communication and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles and ergonomic principles.
  • Experience in equipment justification, specification, installation, and fabrication processes, with a focus on automation and robotics.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Autodesk 2D or equivalent CAD software.
  • Electronics or Controls experience.
  • Continuous Improvement experience.
