Rite-Hite Products Corporation, our dock leveler and restraint division, has an immediate need for a maintenance team leader. The maintenance team leader is responsible for assisting in the management of the day to day workload for the maintenance team to ensure an effective and efficient service is delivered and departmental targets are achieved, including the planning and resourcing of Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and maintenance shutdown. This position is responsible for ensuring that facilities, layout and machinery used to produce new and existing materials and goods run to their maximum efficiency and output at the Rite-Hite Horn Lake facility.

Responsibilities

  • Perform PM on Synergetic Fixtures daily
  • Oversee the completion of all PM books
  • Lead the cross training of maintenance team on each equipment
  • Assist in layout of new projects
  • Add to/Complete the Maintenance task list
  • Maintain and repair Mechanical and some Electrical systems and equipment
  • Assist in running an efficient maintenance operation which is able to fulfil operational and customer demand and meet set targets
  • Ensure the safety of individuals on the team and that of those impacted by any maintenance activity
  • Perform scheduled planned preventative maintenance in accordance to minimized unplanned downtime
  • Perform analysis of issues to root cause and development of countermeasures, improvement actions and/or suggestions to improve

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • At least five years related experience and/or training
  • Welding certification
  • Knowledge of manufacturing procedures and capacities
  • Knowledge of company products and components
  • Knowledge of production/inventory control procedures
  • Basic computer skills
