The Fremont facility, located in California's Silicon Valley, is a full-service enclosure systems solution manufacturing plant that handles everything from low-to-mid volume New Product Introduction (NPI) runs to full-scale production. This facility is equipped with in-house painting capabilities and offers flexible logistics solutions, including distribution, inventory management, and repair services. The Manufacturing Engineer plays a crucial role in driving product improvements and ensuring successful product launches within the production environment. This position involves data analysis, root cause identification, and the development of solutions to prevent faults during product introduction. The Manufacturing Engineer will support the validation of manufacturing bills of materials (BOM) across multiple lines, lead product trial preparations, and provide critical feedback to project managers and cross-functional teams regarding manufacturability and yield impacts. Additionally, the role requires the completion of trial reports, ensuring manufacturing lines are validated post-trial, and applying proven manufacturing practices to both new and existing products. The Manufacturing Engineer will also be responsible for developing and proving manufacturing and test processes during product development and launch, creating assembly and test procedures, organizing process verification builds, and planning for capacity and throughput in a high-mix, low-to-medium volume environment. This position requires strong leadership skills and the ability to communicate effectively across various departments and geographic regions, ensuring that all activities are coordinated efficiently.
