The Manufacturing Engineer at CCIntegration Inc. plays a crucial role in providing production support across multiple products and production lines. This position involves auditing processes and creating work instructions that align with lean manufacturing practices to enhance efficiency and productivity. The engineer will troubleshoot system and component failures, conducting thorough analyses and repairs of production systems. Additionally, the role supports product design, development, and testing during the integration phases, ensuring that all processes meet customer specifications and quality standards. In this position, the engineer will be responsible for validating products according to customer specifications and preparing necessary validation reports. They will also support the design, development, and testing phases of product integration, creating clear work instructions for production teams while promoting lean manufacturing practices. The engineer will manage documentation related to control deviations and engineering change notices (ECN/ECO), coordinating the phase-in and cut-in processes effectively. Collaboration is key in this role, as the engineer will work closely with the Quality Assurance and Returned Material Authorization (RMA) teams to make technical decisions and administer the RMA process. They will perform failure analyses and repairs on production systems and field returns, troubleshooting component failures in collaboration with suppliers and customers. Regular interaction with clients is expected to ascertain their requirements and develop delivery plans and schedules. The engineer will also assess, document, and communicate any changes driven by production floor needs or customer requests. The Manufacturing Engineer will lead and support project status calls or meetings, coordinating and planning activities with third-party vendors. Experience with white box systems and Tier 1 suppliers, such as Supermicro, Dell, and HPE platforms, is essential, as is the ability to troubleshoot hardware issues. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are necessary for effective client support, both via phone and email. The engineer must comply with all guidelines and procedures related to the protection of the company's information assets and those of its clients, preparing and drafting failure analysis reports as needed. Testing and validating software, patches, BIOS, and firmware updates are also part of the responsibilities, along with a solid understanding of Linux Operating Systems.
