As a Manufacturing Engineer at Stanley Black & Decker, you will play a crucial role in our Industrial team, working on-site to enhance our manufacturing processes. Your primary responsibilities will include designing process plans for manufactured products, improving existing manufacturing processes, and developing new processes and equipment. You will be tasked with ensuring that all equipment, processes, and tooling operate at satisfactory levels, which is essential for maintaining our high standards of quality and efficiency. In this role, you will conduct process capability studies to assess the effectiveness of current manufacturing methods and identify areas for improvement. You will also be responsible for implementing safety and productivity enhancements, participating in lean manufacturing initiatives that support continuous process improvements, and documenting work standards and instructions. Investigating production concerns will be a key part of your job, where you will perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to resolve issues. Additionally, you will engage in the development and implementation of preventative maintenance programs to ensure the longevity and reliability of our manufacturing equipment.
