The primary responsibilities include reading and understanding product drawings and schematics provided by engineers, leading problem-solving efforts to address production issues, and communicating effectively with quality and engineering teams to drive process improvements. The role also involves developing proper manufacturing, testing, and quality control standard work, conducting in-process checks on the production line to ensure adherence to standard work, and verifying that work-in-process, finished products, and packing meet quality requirements. Additionally, the position requires conducting final inspections on finished products and recording test data, as well as developing and improving monthly reports to quantify production improvements and identify areas needing attention. The successful candidate will determine the process capabilities and outgoing quality levels of all major products, identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization, and assist in the development and implementation of training programs, process planning, and policies.
