About the position

The Manufacturing Engineer position focuses on developing and implementing efficient manufacturing processes that meet product specifications and quality standards. The role involves evaluating current processes, recommending improvements, and coordinating the launch of new or revised products to enhance production efficiency and quality.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate manufacturing processes by designing and conducting research programs.
• Develop manufacturing processes by studying product requirements and modifying manufacturing methods and equipment.
• Improve manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning work flow, space requirements, and equipment layout.
• Assure product and process quality by designing testing methods and establishing standards.
• Provide manufacturing decision-making information by calculating production, labor, and material costs.
• Prepare product and process reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
• Maintain equipment operational by coordinating maintenance and repair services.
• Maintain product and process data base by writing computer programs and entering data.
• Complete design and development projects by training and guiding technicians.
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and participating in professional societies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• Experience in manufacturing processes and methods.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with CAD software.
• Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles.
• Project management experience.
