About the position

Lockheed Martin is seeking a full-time Early Career Manufacturing Engineer to support the Aeronautics Business Area in Fort Worth, Texas. This role involves providing support throughout all stages of a platform's program lifecycle, including manufacturing plan development, production support, and post-delivery activities. The Manufacturing Engineer will collaborate with design engineers and shop floor personnel to ensure efficient aircraft production, requiring a detail-oriented and organized candidate with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support all stages of a platform's program lifecycle.
• Develop manufacturing plans and support full-rate production.
• Engage in post-delivery sustainment and modification activities.
• Collaborate with design engineers and shop floor personnel to support production.
• Participate in a fast-paced environment and contribute to team efforts.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a technology-related field such as Manufacturing Engineering Technology, Industrial Engineering Technology, or Aeronautics Engineering Technology.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment through organized group activities.
• Must be a US Citizen due to facility access requirements.

Nice-to-haves

• Previous manufacturing/operations experience.
• Desire to obtain an Operations role with hands-on applications of engineering and manufacturing principles.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
