The position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The engineer will also be expected to perform other related duties as required, contributing to the overall success of the manufacturing operations. Responsibilities

• Responsible for methods of manufacturing, cost reductions, and machinery specifications.
• Oversee environmental and safety compliance in the absence of the EHS Administrator.
• Engage in facilities planning to optimize manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate with production supervisors and engineering personnel to improve efficiency.
• Work with corporate manufacturing services to align practices with company goals.

Requirements

• Degree required in industrial/manufacturing engineering or related field.
• Six to eight years of experience in a sheet metal environment.
• Must be ambitious and possess strong organizational skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to function under pressure.
• Proficient in computer software, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Ability to use AutoCAD software effectively.
• Strong interpersonal skills to work well with others.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
• Understanding of company policies and procedures.
