As a Manufacturing Engineer at Actalent, you will play a pivotal role in the creation, documentation, development, and implementation of procedures essential for the manufacturing, assembling, processing, and testing of our products. Your primary focus will be on identifying and enhancing overall processes, which includes process development, scheduling, creating process documentation, product manufacture, assembly, testing, problem-solving, capacity planning, safety, and equipment management. You will also be actively involved in the design, installation, operation, and debugging of tooling and capital equipment. A significant aspect of your role will be to implement Lean principles aimed at cost reduction, process improvement, and waste elimination. You will be expected to adhere to established quality systems and procedures as required. Your day-to-day activities will encompass a variety of tasks including equipment process improvements, supporting sales with labor costs and production rates, changing fixtures, managing new machine installations or upgrades, learning processes, writing work instructions, and handling meetings and emails. This position is crucial for ensuring that our manufacturing processes are efficient, effective, and aligned with the company's goals for quality and performance.
