About the position
The Manufacturing Engineer at Actalent plays a crucial role in collaborating with the product development department during the product development phase. This position involves troubleshooting electrical and electronic circuits, providing technical assistance, verifying defects, and writing Engineering Change Requests (ECRs). The engineer will also design and implement production test equipment and analyze existing test procedures to enhance manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the product development department during product development.
- Troubleshoot electrical and electronic circuits to the component level.
- Provide technical assistance in testing and checking electronic components.
- Verify defects and write Engineering Change Requests (ECRs).
- Design and implement production test equipment.
- Analyze and update existing test procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Experience working in a process manufacturing environment.
- Knowledgeable in Lean Manufacturing (5S, Kaizen).
- Ability to design electronic test fixtures for production testing.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and providing technical assistance.
- Familiarity with FDA GMP and ISO standards.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with ISO 13485 and Six Sigma methodologies.
