About the position

We are seeking a Project Manager to lead a new line installation at our facility in Berea, KY. This role involves providing project management and hands-on assistance within a team of Manufacturing & Industrial Engineers. The primary focus will be on material movement technologies, processes, tools, and practices to ensure that materials reach their destination in a timely manner. The Project Manager will work on implementing kitting, supermarkets, and large item sequencing to optimize the material flow from suppliers to the finished product. In this position, you will be responsible for optimizing floor space and designing material flow processes that enhance efficiency and productivity. You will collaborate closely with engineering teams to ensure that all project goals are met and that the installation process runs smoothly. This role requires a strong understanding of manufacturing engineering principles and the ability to apply project management skills effectively in a dynamic environment. The Project Manager will also be expected to engage in continuous improvement initiatives, utilizing CAD and other tools to support the design and implementation of effective material handling solutions. This is a contract position with a duration of 24-36 months, and it is fully on-site in Berea, Kentucky, providing a unique opportunity to work directly within a warehouse and manufacturing floor environment.
