Responsibilities

• Analyze existing assembly lines to identify bottlenecks, inefficient processes, safety concerns, and areas for automation implementation.
• Champion a culture of continuous improvement and work effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operation and efficient problem-solving.
• Evaluate the performance of manufacturing processes, material flow, and material handling systems to identify opportunities for further optimization.
• Lead the development and implementation of process improvements, new manufacturing processes, and equipment including the procurement process for equipment, vendor selection, and project timeline management.
• Leverage production data to track key metrics.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
• At least 3-5 years of proven experience as a Manufacturing Engineer, ideally with a focus on automation in an assembly environment.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, including quality control principles and techniques and automation technologies (robotics, PLCs, sensors, vision systems, etc.).
• Experience with process analysis, optimization, and equipment design.
• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and deliver results within budget constraints.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for designing automation systems.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in the consumer goods or packaging industry preferred.
