About The Position

The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the high precision CNC operations at a family-owned manufacturing company with over 50 years of experience. This role involves making repairs, adjustments, installations, and maintenance of various CNC and manual machining equipment, ensuring the operations remain state-of-the-art and efficient.

Requirements

  • Strong electronics background with experience in troubleshooting CNC machines.
  • Experience with a variety of machining equipment including mills, lathes, drill presses, jig bores, sanders, and grinders.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints and specifications accurately.
  • Some supervisory experience and quality competence.

Responsibilities

  • Make repairs and adjustments to CNC Machining Centers, Manual Mills, Manual Lathes, Gear Machines, and other industrial equipment.
  • Perform maintenance on CNC and manual machining equipment.
  • Interpret blueprints, specifications, and job orders to ensure accurate production processes.
  • Troubleshoot a broad range of CNC machines and manual equipment.
  • Implement new technology and tooling to improve manufacturing processes.
