About the position
Bardons & Oliver is seeking self-starter Field Service Technicians to enhance customer satisfaction through exceptional service. This full-time position involves significant travel, approximately 80%, primarily on Mondays and Fridays, with occasional weekend travel. The role focuses on servicing machines built by Bardons & Oliver, requiring strong mechanical skills and the ability to interpret blueprints and schematics.
Responsibilities
- Manage on-site installation, repair, maintenance, and testing tasks.
- Diagnose errors and technical problems, determining proper solutions.
- Document processes and communicate with the technical team to share information across the organization.
Requirements
- Proven field service experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read and interpret various types of blueprints and schematics.
- Strong mechanical skills.
- Experience and competence in machine control and interface diagnostics and repair (PLC and CNC).
- Valid driver's license and ability to obtain a U.S. Passport.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in customer service within a technical field.
- Familiarity with international travel requirements.
