About the position

The Manufacturing Financial Analyst at Insituform Technologies, LLC plays a crucial role in the Supply Chain Finance team, focusing on accurate accounting and financial analysis for manufacturing facilities. This position collaborates closely with operations teams to enhance financial visibility and operational efficiency, supporting the company's mission to provide cost-effective pipeline rehabilitation solutions.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Plant Managers and other operations supervisors on reporting requirements and special projects.
• Support inventory management reporting and initiatives, including inventory aging and obsolescence reviews.
• Support monthly and annual inventory cycle count and physical inventory.
• Analyze manufacturing costs and variances, including material, labor, and overhead expenses.
• Monitor key performance indicators.
• Perform general financial statement analysis to track performance against goals and identify areas of improvement.
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Verify source data for accuracy.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Prepare financial reports to analyze costs and identify budget variances.
• Accumulate cost information for labor, materials, and overhead by work order from the ERP system for comparison to job budgets.
• Reconcile inventory book to physical variances.
• Set up new raw material items; maintain production BOMs; perform periodic cost rolls/updates.
• Travel to various manufacturing sites to perform inventory counts and investigate variances as needed.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in accounting or finance required.
• 2+ years of prior work experience in accounting or equivalent field.
• Proficiency in Excel including Pivot Tables and V-Lookup formulas required.
